Welp, another day another post. I wish the internet hadn't swallowed up and disappeared my last post. It was a thing of beauty. But now you'll never know... now will you.

I'll just give a brief recount of this weekend... lets see... Friday night, Poker at my place.. Nesa kicked arse, she took the big pot home. Headed to Coppertank after around midnight... Dan puked... fairly amusing actually.. we were in Kelvin's car.. Dan was a little quiet.. seemed like he nodded off... then we hear "Oh sh%t. I think I drooled on myself." The pungent aroma that filled the car soonafter told us that it definately was not drool. So we pulled over, luckily he only threw up on himself. The car took a bit of airing out to clear the smell though. That was Friday...

Saturday... the day begins with Dim Sum... Steph, Dan, Scott and I head over to Dai Tong over on Kingsway and Victoria. After a half hour wait we enter the relatively newly renovated establishment. The variety was decent considering we had a full vegetarian in our ranks. Even after eating to an uncomfortably full level, the total cost only came to $45 for the four of us! Formidable! Picked up a cheap BBQ, some food and off to the beach! We started off at Jericho beach, but after a short time, the disappointing amount of eye candy (for both male and female members of our party) motivated us to move to Kits. Humm... short time at the beach.. Whisked ourselves out around 9, all showered, got cleaned up and off to Wild Coyote! There till about 1am, then back home for a good night's sleep.

Sunday.... scrubbed the pool... read in the sun... then met Dan at a baby shower... they're so little.. I have no desire to create any Dave-spawns just as of yet. Grabbed some grub and back to the beach. Good beach... Sophia and Jenn joined us later. Ate some good food... watched the sun set. It was romantic. Wished I was there with somebody to be romantic with. Oh well. Co-worker of Dan's called asking if we had any "hook-ups" for contraband herbal materials. Considering Dan owed her for bailing twice this weekend we went off on the task of obtaining said contraband. Met up with an old co-worker. Had a few drinks... Sat around.. looked at the clock.. Ever have those moments when it's 11pm, but it only 'feels' like 6pm. With a moment of inspiration we spontaneously decided to test our luck/skill at the River Rock Casino. Now.. I've never been to a Casino before... it was quite an interesting experience. We set a firm limit of $50 to ourselves, and we were off. After floundering about like pathetic birds, our pathos called a nice pit boss to help orient us to the wonders of the casino. Dan and I were placed at separate tables and we were off to play some good ol' Texas Hold'em. Blah blah blah.. long tirade about gambling. At around 2:15am Dan walks up.. he's done for the night.. pity... I play one more hand then cash out. Doubled up for the night, that's not too shabby. Now I can afford Kristina's birthday present. Got home 'round 2:30. Saw a girl get dropped off by a taxi at the corner... puke then fall down onto the grass. Well that's no good. Got some water, went over and gave her some assistance.. some kleenex.. made sure she got home ok... then went home.. mighty fine day if I say so myself. Beach, babes, won at poker, acted chivalrously... then to bed.

Today!

Umm.. spent the morning with mom n' dad... did shopping... more stuff..

yup... today wasn't so interesting...
