Eternity

My eyes like stars look into the deepening sky,
Shining ever upon the humble Earth,
Their gaze settling upon one of worth.
Watching over her wherever she might lie.

Beams of starlight reach for her this night,
Arms that wrap around her peaceful form,
Caressing her and shielding her from any storm,
Ever she lies, guarded by my stars bright light.

My all, my love, ever her eyes glimmer,
Tears formed of joy are what in her future lays,
Warm arms to hold and words to light her days,

Though ever she lies, the mountains apart,
